Nigerian pastor renovates a 60-year-old Mosque in Osun State (Photos)

A Nigerian pastor, identified as Oluwaseun Basil Alabi, has carried out a lovely project by renovating a 60-year-old mosque in Ikire, Osun state.

The good news was disclosed via a Facebook post shared by one Bakara Adegboyegba, who said that the building was commissioned few days before the Sallah celebration.

Sharing before and after pictures of the Mosque, Bakara wrote;

“It was a joyful gathering of Muslim leaders in the quiet city of Ikire, in Irewole local government area of Osun State on Friday the 16th day of July 2021, as a sixty year old Alatise mosque located at Popo junction of the town renovated by a pastor was commisoned for use.”

The Chief Imam of Ikire land, Alhaji Yunus, praised Pastor Alabi for his generous act towards the community. He also led a special prayer session for the pastor who stays in Minnesota, United States of America.

Speaking on why he choose to renovate the mosque, Pastor Alabi said,

”I grew up in an Ikire community where religion had no effect on our relationship. It was a time when chritians participated actively in the religious festivities of Muslims.

A time when you would find many hijab wearing women attending church sessions of chritian weddings and burials. It was a time you find young children, Muslims and Christians play together in the mosques and eat saara (food items brought to mosque as alms)together without fear or intimidation.

It was a time that humanity United us and made us one strong family, living and sharing our goodness with love and togetherness.”

Will This Be The End Of Zlatan Ibile?

With the release of “UY Scuti,” the realization that there is a major shift ongoing in the music industry, is just hitting so many people.
Not me, though. I’ve always known. This paradigm shift is inevitable, and has begun for more than half a decade now.

The first invasion of mid-tempo music started around the time Wizkid‘s “Ojuelegba” became a hit. Actually, it was a sleeper. Every other song on the album have had their moments, and then out of nowhere, “Ojuelegba” became an anthem.

The remix with Drake and Skepta, and the Lagos-themed music video came later and by the end of 2015, it had become WizKid‘s most important song.

Also by the end of 2015, it had become a wave. Songs like “Ojuelegba” had become a thing. Well, not exactly songs like it. But songs with mid to low tempos. That was the era the Tekno’s and the Runtown’s came.

In 2016, alkayida had crept upon the music industry and it birthed the ‘pon pon’ sound. This was around the time Wizkid made “Final” and started making Sounds From The Other Side moves.

When SFTOS came in 2017, not a lot of people in the industry accepted it. They wanted groove, something they can dance to, ‘tungba’ music. There were other artists from the streets like Olamide who were willing to do that, but not people like WizKid.

WizKid had already evolved and his music was now characterized by calm, smooth vibes all round. But that was then.

Now, even Olamide, who was once the hottest on the streets, has now evolved. On “UY Scuti,” he has no song with a street-hop beat, for example. All of his tracks are Afrobeats, pop and dancehall.

From “Carpe Diem,” Olamide started introducing soft melodies, low tempos and absolutely no noise. His vocals have improved greatly to match, I must say.
But the one thing that is clear is that the Nigerian music scene is slowly shifting away from fast-paced party bangers to calm and mid-tempo kind of music.

What will happen to artists like Zlatan now? Will they have to switch up completely to fit the industry or will they risk being irrelevant in an industry that will leave them behind if they can’t catch up?

Or is this the end of the road for them?

Masturbation boost Immune System and fight off Infections. So, prevents contacting Coronavirus Disease

IF you've been ordered to stay indoors and self-isolate amid the coronavirus outbreak, you could get pretty bored and lonely not being able to socialise - I mean, there's only so much Netflix you can watch.
So while you make one last dash to the supermarket to stock up on your supply of toilet paper and canned goods, perhaps consider adding some batteries to your shop, because as it turns out, masturbating will not only give you something to do, but it will help keep you healthy - and who are we to go against the doctor's orders.
Doctor reveals that masturbation is the answer to boosting your immune system
But while many people look past the health benefits of indulging in a little self-love, Dr Jennifer Landam, a specialist in hormone therapy,  suggests that masturbation might be exactly what you need to strengthen your body's natural defence forces.
Self-pleasuring is known to boost your immune system and raise your white blood cell count - which in turn helps to fight infection in the body.
Now, this might not be the first time you've heard that time alone with your favourite toy will help with more than just relieving stress after a tough day at work- and that's because it's back by science.
Dr Landom's views are also reflected in a small study conducted by the Department of Medical Psychology at the University Clinic of Essen in Germany which closely looked at the effects of orgasm through masturbation on white blood cell count.
And yes, while we agree that a team of doctors watching a group of people engage in self-pleasure is rather strange, the results were clear and it was confirmed that sexual arousal and orgasm increased the number of white blood cells and boosted the immune system - so thank you volunteers.
More than that, though, orgasms in general help you relax and sleep better, too - and more sleep means more time for your body to repair and recover.
Besides, the NHS even says that sexual arousal sends the heart rate higher, and the number of beats per minute reaches its peak during orgasm.
So if you are feeling a little under the weather,  or simplY want your immune system firing the way it should, simply whip out your play mate and enjoy the time indoors.
But remember, if you are engaging is sex with a partner during the coronavirus outbreak be sure to slap on a condom because according to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, the main method of transmission of the coronavirus is person-to-person contact - and we all know what that means.
